Working closely with the Head of Performance Marketing, you'll have the opportunity to expand your technical expertise, take ownership of high-impact initiatives and play a key role in building the next phase of the Group's performance marketing capability.

Role Overview

The Performance Marketing Executive plays a key role in delivering profitable growth across The Nawiri Group's portfolio of travel brands, including Go2Africa and Asilia Africa.

Reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing, this role is responsible for managing and growing the Group's affiliate marketing programme, driving creative optimisation across paid media, supporting campaign execution across multiple paid channels and identifying new opportunities to improve performance through testing, automation and innovation.

This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially minded marketer who enjoys combining data, creativity and technology to improve campaign performance. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, agency partners and external publishers to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Affiliate Programme Management

Own the day-to-day management and growth of The Nawiri Group's affiliate marketing programme. Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit and onboard high-quality affiliate partners.

  • Develop long-term relationships with publishers and content creators.

  • Monitor affiliate compliance and programme quality.

  • Optimise commissions and promotional activity.

  • Identify new partnership opportunities across global markets.

  • Analyse programme performance and implement improvements.

  • Collaborate with brands to align affiliate promotions with commercial priorities.

2. Paid Media Support

Support the execution and optimisation of paid media campaigns across the Group. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with campaign builds and optimisation.

  • Monitor campaign performance against agreed KPIs.

  • Support budget pacing and performance reporting.

  • Identify optimisation opportunities across Google Ads and Meta.

  • Assist with audience management and campaign QA.

  • Support implementation of new platform features and automation.

3. Creative Strategy & Performance Optimisation

Lead creative testing initiatives across performance channels. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop structured creative testing roadmaps.

  • Analyse creative performance using platform and business data.

  • Produce creative performance insights and recommendations.

  • Work closely with designers and brand teams to improve ad effectiveness.

  • Build testing frameworks for messaging, formats, CTAs and landing page alignment.

  • Maintain a library of creative learnings and best practices.

4. Influencer & Creator Partnerships

Develop and grow a performance-led creator strategy. Responsibilities include:

  • Identify suitable creators aligned to each brand.

  • Explore Meta's Partnership Ads and creator collaboration tools.

  • Evaluate Google's creator and demand generation opportunities.

  • Measure creator performance against commercial objectives.

  • Develop scalable creator partnership frameworks.

  • Test creator-led creative alongside traditional advertising.

5. Performance Analysis & Reporting

Support continuous optimisation through data-driven decision making. Responsibilities include:

  • Produce weekly and monthly performance reporting.

  • Analyse trends across paid media and affiliate channels.

  • Monitor KPIs including: CPQL, CPA, ROAS, Revenue, Affiliate contribution, Conversion Rate.

  • Present actionable recommendations.

  • Assist forecasting and budget planning.

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Champion new ideas that improve marketing performance. Responsibilities include:

  • Stay current with platform developments.

  • Evaluate emerging advertising products.

  • Test AI tools and automation opportunities.

  • Recommend improvements to workflows and reporting.

  • Support wider performance marketing initiatives across the Group.

Job requirements

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 5+ years' experience in digital or performance marketing.

  • Experience managing paid media campaigns.

  • Working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Experience managing marketing budgets.

  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.

  • Comfortable interpreting data to drive optimisation.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills.

Desirable

  • Affiliate marketing experience.

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.

  • Experience using GA4.

  • Understanding of conversion rate optimisation.

  • Experience with creator or influencer marketing.

  • Experience working across multiple brands or markets.
