ROLE SUMMARY
As Performance Marketing Manager you will take the lead in driving enquiries to Group B2C brands from online paid media channels, meeting and beating our ambitious growth targets. You will work collaboratively alongside the Digital Director, the Paid Search Manager, and Brand marketing teams to manage a $1M+ annual budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work across multiple B2C brands in the safari space to deliver quantifiable improvements in quality leads and CPL that will result in ROI-positive bookings within budget.
Manage acquisition campaigns across key paid channels – excluding Paid Search, but including - Paid Social, Display and Affiliates to drive quality leads, working to hit targets for cost per quality lead, number of quality leads, bookings, GP and ROI.
Support in the diversification of our lead sources by build and grow acquisition campaigns with new partners and channels.
Identify marketing performance issues – and possible solutions -with the help of analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Work collaboratively across cross functional teams to brief creatives, test strategies and innovation, support with campaigns execution and reporting.
Prepare weekly and monthly reporting to analyse and explain performance trends. Give input to visualization dashboards to be able to explain performance, including new and relevant KPIs for your managed activity.
Implementing A/B testing and other optimisation strategies to continuously improve campaign performance and identify new opportunities.
Keeping abreast of the latest trends, best practices and technical evolution of performance marketing and digital advertising and platforms.
Job requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Performance Marketing.
Proven track record of building and scaling acquisition campaigns on paid platforms other than Paid Search – including Meta, TikTok, Affiliates, Display and more - with a strong focus on ROI.
Exceptional analytical skills to identify patterns and opportunities within complex data to be leveraged to improve performance.
Outstanding presentation skills.
Combining excellent problem-solving skills with an open-minded and strategic approach.
Excellent communication skills, able to build trust-based relationships and influence in cross-functional teams and across varied stakeholder groups.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, purpose-led, agile environment.
Desired skills & experience:
Managing paid acquisition channels for a product or service sold offline.
Ability to ideate and brief ad ideas, as well as some copywriting ability.
Experience in lead scoring.
Relevant work experience in the travel or luxury sector.
Google Analytics 4 expertise.
Experience in visualisation platforms (Google Looker Studio and PBI), WordPress, HubSpot, Gen and Agentic AI and SQL is a distinct bonus.
